The D-Link DSS-16+ is a powerful rackmount Dual Speed 16-port 10/100Mbps Ethernet/Fast Ethernet NWay auto-negotiating Switch that is designed to bring switching to the small office and small business.

Features

The D-Link DSS-16+ is an Ethernet/Fast Ethernet switch that delivers (16) auto-negotiating 10/100BaseTX RJ-45 ports for network connection. The switch has (2) MDI-II RJ-45 ports for stacking and fully supports the IEEE 802.3 and 802.3u standards for 10/100BaseTX Ethernet/Fast Ethernet.
The switch's functionality eliminates unnecessary traffic and relieves data congestion by delivering dedicated bandwidth for each of the sixteen ports. It also provides dynamic buffer allocation that employs network-load balancing for faster data handling. The DSS-16+ uses fast store and forward architecture to ensure low latency and high data integrity.
